What happens when the can is kicked down the road…..eventually problems become catastrophes. So will be the infrastructure throughout the U.S. if Biden is not able to get an infrastructure bill passed…. Our presidents and lawmakers have been all talk….time to do something…..before another catastrophe happens.
“As long ago as 2003, the Sarasota Herald Tribune reported, reservoir walls were crumbling. The federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) previously authorized the dumping of hundreds of millions of gallons of toxic water into the Gulf of Mexico. At a meeting of the Manatee commission on Thursday, called after the seriousness of the new leak became apparent, engineers pointed to the deterioration of the pond’s decades-old plastic liner.”
Environment protection group Mana-Sota 88 said “The current crisis can be traced back to the absurd 2006 decision to allow dredged material from Port Manatee to be placed into one of the gyp stacks at Piney Point, something the stack was never designed for and should have never been allowed.”
“Every April REALTORS® commemorate the passage of the Fair Housing Act of 1968 with events and education that shine a light on housing discrimination and segregation, and a recommitment to expanding equal access to housing.” (Taken from https://www.nar.realtor/fair-housing/fair-housing-month. More info can be found here on this National Association of REALTORS site.)
“CHICAGO – Property developers are creating company policies and taking tangible steps toward achieving greater housing equity, buoyed by a renewed national focus on antidiscrimination and closing the racial homeownership gap, experts said Tuesday at the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) virtual Housing Opportunity Conference.” Excerpt from the following:
This article explains how the majority of real estate agents are classified in their jobs. In my opinion, it would be a disservice to the real estate broker (owner/manager), real estate sales associates, and to the sellers and buyers of properties as well.
Almost all real estate sales agents are classified as independent contractors, as are many other people who work for companies as outside sales associates. When I talk about outside sales associates, I am referring to sales associates who do not do their job at the site location of the employer. I agree with the National Association of REALTORS in that the independent contractor classification should not be changed when it comes to the jobs of real estate sales associates whether they are REALTORS or not. (Note: All real estate sales associates are not REALTORS.)
Since Kelly Property Expert’s webhost decided not to support the format in which my website was created, the new website is going live on March 24, 2021. The format of this new site is going to be orientated toward real estate news, not just a site to advertise properties for sale or for rent.
Properties for sale or for rent are still going to be posted on this website, but this site is so much more. I will be posting to “My Blog” several times per week. You will be able to comment and ask questions via my blog. If you have ideas about what you would like me to post, please let me know. I want my site to be one that provides information that you need and value.
